SPECIFICATIONS

Following the multiple applications submitted by the journalists regarding the extended confiscation, The Public Information and Press Relations Bureau within the Proesecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice is authorized to bring to the public knowledge the following staistics:

            During 2013, at the level of the Public Ministry, there were ordered by the prosecutors, during the investigations, measures ensuring freezing some assets for the purpose of extended confiscation of approximately 30.985.596 RON.

            These procedural measures were ordered in the 34 registered cases at the level of all the prosecutor’s offices, cases in which there are investigated 119 accused/defendants.
