The Public Information and Press Relations Bureau within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice is authorized to bring to public knowledge the following:

Prosecutors within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Suceava Tribunal have carried on with the criminal action against the underage defendant I.D. and ordered at the same time the preventive arrest of the latter (detained meanwhile) for perpetrating the offence of attempted aggravated murder.

The magistrates within the Suceava Tribunal have granted the prosecutors’ request and ordered the preventive arrest of the defendant for a period of 19 days.

The evidence administered in the case, up to this stage of the criminal investigation, revealed the fact that, on 26.06.2012, around 11 o’clock, due to a previous state of conflict, the defendant has exerted acts of violence upon the victim C.D., stabbing him with a knife at the level of the body, inflicting him serious wounds that threatened his life.

 The investigations are undergoing in order to determine all the circumstances of the case and to establish the judicial responsibility.
