PRESS RELEASE

The Public Information and Press Relations Bureau within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice is authorized to bring to public knowledge the following:

A criminal case investigating the disappearance of a man and his two children was docketed at the Cluj Tribunal on February 28, 2012.

During the preliminary investigations, the man’s car was discovered on the banks of the Tarniţa Lake in the Cluj County. Extended investigations were initiated on site by a joint team of police officers, firefighters, and divers coordinated by a prosecutor from the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Cluj Tribunal.

Further investigations are carried out to clarify the actual circumstances and establish the criminal liability.
