The Public Information and Press Relations Bureau within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice is authorized to bring to public knowledge the following:
Prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to Tribunal Sibiu requested the court the pre-trial confinement of the minor defendant STOICA HORATIU DUMITRU, for committing the offence of qualified murder.
The magistrates of the Tribunal Sibiu admitted the request of the prosecutors and ordered the issuing of a pre-trial arrest warrant on the name of the defendant, for a period of 19 days.
From the evidence brought into the cause, until this moment of the criminal prosecution, it resulted the fact that on 23.04.2012, around 1400, based on tensioned relations with the victim G.M. (aged 43 years), the defendant applied her three knife shots in vital anatomical areas, which leaded to the death of the victim in the night of 24.04.2012 at the Clinical County Emergency Hospital Sibiu.
The investigations are ongoing in order to establish the whole criminal activity and all the circumstances of the producing of the deeds.
