The Public Information and Press Relations Bureau within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice is authorized to bring to public knowledge the following:
Prosecutors within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Tribunal Tulcea requested the court the pre-trial confinement of the defendant DIACONU IULIAN for attempted rape.
The magistrates of the Tribunal Tulcea have accepted the proposal or the prosecutors and have ordered the issuing of a pre-trial arrest warrant for a period of 29 days, on the name of the defendant.
From the evidence brought into the cause, until the present moment of the criminal prosecution, result the following factual situation:
On 10.04.2012, around 1700 hours, being under the influence of alcoholic drinks, the defendant, by promises, by violence and threatening, led the minor M.A.M (aged 11 years) to an isolated place where, by physical constraint, tried to have with her sexual intercourse , the action being interrupted by the intervention of two villagers , have heard the cries for help of the victim.
The investigations are ongoing in the cause, in order to clarify all the factual circumstances and to establish the judicial liability.

The prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Trial Court Sinnicolau Mare have ordered the initiation of criminal action against the defendant NOVAC FLORENTIN for committing the offence of illegal deprivation of liberty and have , on the same occasion, requested the court to order the pre-trial confinement of the defendant.
The magistrates of the Trial Court Sannicolau Mare agreed with the proposal of the prosecutors and ordered the issuing of a pre-trial arrest warrant on the name of the defendant, for a period of 29 days.
The evidence brought into the cause until now, reveals the following factual situation:
On 02.04.2012, around 2200, the defendant has threatened with a knife the minor A.L.Y. (aged 15 years) and brought her to his domicile, where he continued to threaten her with act of violence in order to determine her not to leave and holding her in that housing, against her will, until 03.04.2012, at 1200 hours.
Also, in the evening of 13.04.2012, around 2200 hours, the defendant Novac Florin stopped on the street the minor A.L.Z. (aged 15 years) and by threats and acts of violence, against her will, brought her to his domicile and on the field , where he illegally deprived her of freedom, threatening her and cutting her with a knife in the neck region. For the healing of the injuries suffered by the victim A.L.Z. there were necessary 2-3 days of medical treatment.
The investigations are ongoing in order to clarify all the factual circumstances and to establish the judicial liability.
