The Public Information and Press Relations Bureau within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice is authorized to bring to public knowledge the following:

Prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to Buftea Local Court requested the Court, on 19.05.2012, the preventive arrest of the defendant  DRAGOMIR GHEORGHE for the perpetration of the offence of sexual intercourse with a juvenile.

Magistrates of Buftea Local Court allowed the prosecutor’s proposal and ordered the issuance of a preventive arrest warrant, in the defendant’s name, for a period of time of 29 days.

From the evidence administered in the case, until this moment of prosecution, it was revealed the following situation of facts:

During June 2011 – May 2012, the defendant Dragomir Gheorghe repeatedly had intercourse, in his home with the juveniles  D.G.I. (aged 12), D.I.A  (aged 12) and O.Ş (aged 13).

Investigations are underway in order to determine all the circumstances of the case and to establish the judicial responsibility.
