The Office of Public Information and Press within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice is commissioned to release the following public information:

Prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Court of First Instance Fetești decided to indict the defendant E.C.M. for perpetrating the crime of performing financial transactions using an electronic payment instrument without the holder’s consent.

The evidence available shows that, on 22nd of November 2012, the defendant has stolen his father’s bank card taking advantage of the fact that the father was not in the room where he had left all his personal documents. The next day, along with a schoolmate, the defendant has withdrawn the amounts of 2100 lei and 400 lei, amounts he used in order to buy two mobile phones, one for himself and one for his colleague, and several computer components for his own use.

 The case has been sent to the competent court, the Court of First Instance Fetesti.
