The Office of Public Information and Press within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice is commissioned to release the following public information:

On the 19^th of September, prosecutors working within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Tribunal of Timis asked the court of law the provisional arrest for the defendant PARVAN DAN IOAN for committing rape and sexual corruption.

The judges from the Tribunal of Timis have accepted this proposal and have ordered the issue of a mandate for the provisional arrest for 29 days for the above mentioned defendant.

The evidence available at this point of the criminal investigation in this case shows the following:

During February – September 2012, using his quality of karate trainer, the defendant has initiated repeatedly sexual intercourse with the injured parties, PA and RC (minors of age). In this context, he took pictures which he has shown to the injured parties, but he has also shown them other obscene pictures.

The criminal investigation is ongoing in order to clarify all the circumstances and to establish the criminal charges.
