PRESS RELEASE

The Public Information and Press Relations Bureau within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice is authorized to bring to public knowledge the following:

A criminal case investigating CĂPĂŢÂNĂ MIHAI accused of perpetrating the offence of oultrage against morals and serious disturbance of public order and safety was docketed at the Prosecutor’s Office attached to Sector 4 Bucharest Courthouse. Therewith, the prosecutors of this Prosecutor Office have ordered the arrest of the defendant for 24 hours, pursuing to be presented today, with the court’s proposal for preventive arrest.

From the first research conducted until this moment the prosecution revealed that the defendant participated together with other persons so far remained unidentified, on 15/01/2012, by setting fire of the property belonging to the public domain, from the area of the crossroads of Cantemir with Marasesti.

Research continue with the aim of determining all the circumstances of the case and of those involved, and as they develop, we will bring the information to the public knowledge.
