PRESS RELEASE

The Public Information and Press Relations Bureau within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice is authorized to bring to public knowledge the following:

On the docket of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to Sector 1 Courthouse was constituted, on 14.06.2012, a criminal case for which there are executed investigations regarding  the incident in which it resulted the death of a 5 years old underaged.

From the first investigations it was revealed the fact that the girl died while she was playing in the courtyard (together with her sister), as a consequence of a collapsed wall over the two of them, but also over their mother, as she was trying to save them.

Investigations are underway in order to determine all the circumstances of the case and to establish the judicial responsibility of the defendant.
