PRESS RELEASE

The Public Information and Press Relations Bureau within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice is authorized to bring to public knowledge the following:

Prosecutors from the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Tulcea Tribunal closed the indictment against the defendant Cristian Adrian IOLI, committing him for trial for rape.

The evidence produced in this case so far has revealed that the defendant Cristian Adrian Ioli had repeated sexual intercourse with the minor C.A.I. (his wife’s daughter from a previous marriage, aged 11) who was in his care for raising and education.

The case falls under the jurisdiction of the Tulcea Tribunal.
