The Office for public information and press within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice is commissioned to release the following public information:

Prosecutors from the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Tribunal of Galati have decided, on September 11, 2012, to prosecute the defendant CONSTANTIN DUMITRU MITICĂ for trespassing, destruction and attempt of qualified and very serious murder.

The administrated evidence have showed the fact that, on May 25, 26 and 27, the defendant has breached, by breaking a window, into the house of the victims P.C. şi P.N.

During the night of May 26 and 27, 2012, the defendant has thrown inflammable substance towards the victims C.D. (aged 7) and P.G.G. (aged 3), causing a carbon monoxide intoxication, and burns on 6% and 10% of the bodies. The victims’parents saved their lives.

The defendant has also damaged belongings of the afore mentioned victims, the amount of the prejudice reaching 2.000 RON.

             The case has been sent to the competent Court, the Tribunal of Galati.
