PRESS RELEASE

In furtherance of the investigations into the case pending at the Criminal Investigation and Criminalistics Section within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice concerning the permanent voters’ lists and the supplementary voters’ lists used for the Referendum of July 29, 2012, the Public Information and Press Relations Bureau within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice is authorized to bring to public knowledge the following:

On August 9, 2012, the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice sent to the Constitutional Court a Note showing our availability to place at the Court’s disposal the permanent and supplementary voters’ lists used for the national Referendum of July 29, 2012, bearing the original signatures of the voters, seized according to the procedures carried out in this case which is currently pending at the Criminal Investigation and Criminalistics Section.

The Constitutional Court has not expressed a request in this respect so far. (link)
