PRESS RELEASE

The Public Information and Press Relations Bureau within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice is authorized to bring to public knowledge the following:

Prosecutors from the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Huedin Local Court committed the defendant Nicolae-Ovidiu ARSINTE for trial for sexual intercourse with a minor.

The evidence produced during the criminal investigation revealed that, between May 20, 2012 and June 4, 2012, the defendant, working as shepherd at a sheepfold in the Cluj County, offered and promised various goods to the minor M.D.G. (aged 13) to lure him into having sexual relations with him.

The case falls under the jurisdiction of the Huedin Local Court.
