The Public Information and Press Relations Bureau within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice is authorized to bring to public knowledge the following:

Prosecutors from the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Suceava Tribunal closed the indictment for the prosecution of the defendant Sorin SOLOMON, under pretrial arrest, for rape.

The evidence produced in the case during the criminal investigation revealed that, on January 15, 2012, the defendant Sorin Solomon forced the injured party P.D.M. (a minor) who was under his care and protection to have sexual intercourse with him.

The case falls under the jurisdiction of the Suceava Tribunal.
