The Public Information and Press Relations Bureau within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice is authorized to bring to public knowledge the following:

At the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Trial Court Targu Jiu has been constituted, on 07.09.2012, a criminal cause in which are carried out investigations  for  the  committing of  the offences of involuntary manslaughter and  bodily injury caused by negligence.

From the first investigations it was held that in the morning of 07.09.2012, around 02⁰⁰, on the territory of a community within  Gorj county, occurred a traffic event, subsequently to which  resulted the death  of a person and the bodily injury of thre minors, aged 6, 4 and respectively 2 years.

The investigations are ongoing in order to clarify all factual circumstances and to establish the criminal  responsibility.
