PRESS RELEASE

The Public Information and Press Relations Bureau within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice is authorized to bring to public knowledge the following:

Prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to Maramureş Tribunal ordered, on 01.06.2012, by indictment, the sending to court, in state of preventive arrest, of the underaged defendant S.A.C. for having perpetrated the offence of rape.

The evidence administered in the case, during the criminal prosecution, revealed the fact that, on 14.05.2012, the defendant S.A.C., had intercourse by coercion with the injured part C.D.L. (aged 12).

The file was handed, for competent settlement, to Maramureş Tribunal
