The Public Information and Press Relations Bureau within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice is authorized to bring to public knowledge the following:

The prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to Craiova Court of Law have requested the court, the preventive arrest of the defendant COLAN ROBER-CONSTANTIN investigated for the offence of intercourse with a juvenile.

Magistrates of Craiova Court of Law decided in favor of proposal and ordered the preventive arrest of the defendant Colan Rober-Constantin for a period of 29 days.

The administered evidence in the case during the prosecution revealed the subsequent facts:

During September 2010 – January 2012, the defendant Colan Rober-Constantin repeatedly held intercourse with the juvenile F.D.M. (aged 15 and 6 months), that was in his care for several years.

Investigations are underway in order to determine all the circumstances of the case and to establish the judicial responsibility of the defendant.
