PRESS RELEASE

The Public Information and Press Relations Bureau within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice is authorized to bring to public knowledge the following:

The  prosecutors from the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Trial Court Braila  have requested at the trial court  the  pre-trial custody  of the defendant R.A. (minor) for committing the offence  of robbery .

The magistrates of the Trial Court Braila have accepted the request of the prosecutors and ordered the issuing of a pre-trial arrest warrant on the name of the defendant, for a period of 19 days.

From the  evidence brought in the cause until this moment of the criminal pursuit it resulted that on 25.02.2012, while he was at the Barrier Calarasi from the municipality Braila, the defendant has stolen, with violence, from the injured party a bicycle in amount of 200 lei

The investigation continues in order to clarify all factual circumstances and to establish the criminal  responsibility.
