PRESS RELEASE

The Public Information and Press Relations Bureau within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice is authorized to bring to public knowledge the following:

Prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to Mehedinţi Tribunal ordered, by indictment, the sending to court of the defendants Drăguşin  Şaban, Vidin Marius, Cojocaru Alexandru, Ion Marin Nicuşor, Purcărin Costel Claudiu, Răducan Georgel for having perpetrated the offence of rape and deprivation of liberty and of the defendants Oţet Ionuţ Mădălin and Lupu Viorel for having perpetrated the offence of rape.

The evidence administered in the case, during the prosecution revealed the following situation of facts:

On 19.04.2012, the defendants Drăguşin  Şaban, Vidin Marius, Cojocaru Alexandru, Ion Marin Nicuşor, Purcărin Costel Claudiu, Răducan Georgel, Oţet Ionuţ Mădălin and Lupu Viorel, had itercorse, by coercion, with the underaged P.S.G., aged 13.

The case has been sent, for competent settlement, to Mehedinţi Tribunal.

Prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to Mehedinţi Tribunal ordered, by indictment, the sending to court of the defendant Lazăr Miraj for having perpetrated the offence of rape.

The evidence administered in the case, during the prosecution revealed the following situation of facts:

On 21.04.2012, the defendant Lazăr Miraj, while he was in a forest from Mehedinţi County, had intercourse with the underaged D.C.I. (aged 5), person that was in the impossibility of expressing of the will and to defend himself.

The file has been sent, for competent settlement, to Mehedinţi Tribunal.
