The Public Information and Press Relations Bureau within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice is authorized to bring to public knowledge the following:

 

 

 

A criminal case investigating the traffic accident that occurred on November 29, 2011 in the locality of Bâlteni, the Gorj County, was docketed at the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Tg. Jiu Local Court on November 30, 2011.

The preliminary investigation revealed that, on November 29, 2011 around 12:45 PM, a minor (aged 7) was hit by a car running from Rovinari towards Filiaºi while trying to cross the street.

The minor went into deep coma and was taken to the Tg. Jiu Emergency Hospital where she received adequate medical care.

Investigations are carried out to clarify all the actual circumstances and establish the criminal liability.
