PRESS RELEASE

The Public Information and Press Relations Bureau within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice is authorized to bring to public knowledge the following:

A criminal case investigating the traffic accident that occurred in the Arad municipality was docketed at the Arad Local Court on September 24, 2011.

The preliminary investigations revealed that, on the above-mentioned date, the minor C.T. (aged 8) was hit by a car while crossing the street correctly on a zebra crossing properly signaled. The minor was taken to the Arad County Clinical Emergency Hospital where he was diagnosed with severe head injury and excoriated bilateral ankle wounds.

Investigations are carried out to clarify all the circumstances of the case and determine the legal liability.
