PRESS RELEASE

The Public Information and Press Relations Bureau within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice is authorized to bring to public knowledge the following:

A criminal case against a minor for use of forged identity and attempt of illegal border crossing of the Romanian state border was docketed at the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Arad Local Court.

The evidence produced so far has shown the following:

On September 22, 2011, around 3:00 PM, the 12-year old minor tried to illegally cross the border from Hungary to Romania, using a Romanian passport belonging to another person.

Investigations are carried out to clarify all the circumstances of the case.
