PRESS RELEASE

The Public Information and Press Relations Bureau within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice is authorized to bring to public knowledge the following:

A criminal case investigating a traffic accident that resulted in the injury of a minor was docketed on October 17, 2011 at the Prosecutor’s Office attached to Buftea Local Court.

The preliminary investigations showed that, on October 10, 2011 around 07:00 PM, while driving on the National Road 1 in the town of Otopeni, the driver collided with the car in front of him carrying an 11-month old baby.

The minor suffered a minor craniocerebral trauma with a risk of right parietal epicranial hematoma and was taken to the Hospital “Grigore Alexandrescu” in Bucharest.

Investigations are carried out to clarify all the circumstances and establish the legal liability.
