PRESS RELEASE

The Public Information and Press Relations Bureau within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice is authorized to bring to public knowledge the following:

A criminal file investigating the circumstances in which two minor schoolgirls from the General School for Grades 1 to 8 in Cernăteşti, the Buzău County, were injured by logs that rolled down from a woodpile. The accident resulted in the serious injury of one of the schoolgirls who was taken to an emergency hospital in Bucharest.

Investigations are carried out to clarify all the circumstances of the case and establish the legal liability.
