PRESS RELEASE

The Public Information and Press Relations Bureau within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice is authorized to bring to public knowledge the following:

A criminal case was registered by the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Râmnicu Vâlcea Court of Law on 15.11.2011 and investigations are conducted as to the decease of a newborn, which occurred while being transported with an ambulance to the Polizu Hospital in Bucharest shortly after birth.

Investigations are underway in order to clarify all the factual circumstances and establish the criminal liability.
