PRESS RELEASE

The Public Information and Press Relations Bureau within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice is authorized to bring to public knowledge the following:

A criminal case investigating a crime of sexual intercourse with a minor was docketed at the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Buftea Local Court on October 6, 2011.

The evidence produced so far during the criminal investigation has shown that, between May and September 2011, the injured party A.G.N. (a minor girl aged 14), engaged repeatedly in sexual intercourse with an individual who offered her in exchange money, food, clothes, and shelter.

Investigations are carried out to clarify all the aspects of the case and the legal liability.
