PRESS RELEASE

The Public Information and Press Relations Bureau within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice is authorized to bring to public knowledge the following:

        On September 1, 2011, a criminal case against a male person currently under investigation for sexual corruption was docketed at the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Arad Local Court.

The information gathered in this case shows that, between 2009 –2010, the man repeatedly performed obscene acts again a minor aged 10.

The investigation is carried out by the competent police authorities coordinated by the prosecutors from the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Arad Local Court.

For clarification, a legal medical examination of the injured party has been ordered.
