The Public Information and Media Relations Office within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice is authorized to bring to public knowledge the following:

In the case dealing with the fire which broke out in the “Colectiv” Club in Bucharest, the crime scene investigation was brought to completion today.

147 persons, witnesses and injured persons, were questioned this week, so as to clarify the circumstances in which the event of October the 30^th 2015 occurred.

At the same time, in accordance with the authorizations issued by the court of law, under the coordination of the prosecutors working for the Section of Criminal Investigation and Criminalistics within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice, searches are being made to 7 locations situated in the Municipality of Bucharest and the Giurgiu County.
