The Public Information and Media Relations Office within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice is authorized to bring to public knowledge the following:

In the case dealing with the fire which broke out in the “Colectiv” Club located in Bucharest, joint teams made up of police officers, forensic experts, specialists in pyrotechnics, under the supervision of prosecutors of the Section of Criminal Investigation and Criminalistics within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice, continue the investigations at the crime scene, as well as the hearings with a view to clarifying the occurrences in which the events of 30 October 2015 took place.

At the same time, today, the 2^nd of November 2015, the persons named COSTIN MINCU, ALIN GEORGE ANASTASESCU and PAUL GANCEA (shareholders in the aforementioned club) were summoned so as to be heard as suspects for having committed the crimes of manslaughter and involuntary bodily harm.

We will keep the public opinion informed as the investigations progress.
