PRESS RELEASE

The Public Information and Press Relations Bureau within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice is authorized to bring to public knowledge the following:

Prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Maramureş Tribunal ordered, on 23.05.2012, by indictment, the sending to court, in state of preventive arrest, of the defendant BELA VASILE for perpetrating the offences of rape and sexual corruption.

From the evidences administered in the investigation, it was revealed the fact that, during the period of November 2011 – April 2012, the defendant Bela Vasile constrained the underaged B.I.L. (his daughter aged 13) to sexual intercourse and, at the same time has committed upon her obscene acts.

The file has been sent for competent settlement to Maramureş Tribunal.
