The Public Information and Press Relations Bureau within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice is authorized to bring to public knowledge the following:

Prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to Vâlcea Tribunal ordered, on 23.05.2012, the beginning of the criminal prosecution against the defendant  Bondoc Ion (being in detention) for perpetrating the offences of attempted rape.

At the same time, later today, the prosecutors required the preventive arrest of the defendant, request allowed by the magistrates of Vâlcea Tribunal which ordered the issuance of a preventive arrest warrant of the defendant for a period of 29 days.

From the evidence administered in the case, up to this moment of the prosecution, it was revealed the fact that the defendant attempted to have intercourse with the juvenile (aged 13 years) by exercising physical violence, the action being interrupted by the intervention of the underaged’s mother. 

 Investigations are underway in order to determine all the circumstances of the case and to establish the judicial responsibility.
